Topics discussed include: EJO’s thoughts on how close we are to having Cylons of our own (he claims that “we are already there”), Tricia Helfer on portraying Gina and Number Six (particularly from “Pegasus” and “Resurrection Ship“), Michael Hogan’s thoughts on his relationship with Caprica Six, Tahmoh Penikett’s thoughts on how every character on the show was his favorite, and more.
The second video is from the Saturday, September 3rd panel. Also moderated by Dr. Thomas Parham, this panel featured Richard Hatch, Tahmoh Penikett, Edward James Olmos, and Mary McDonnell (Laura Roslin).
Topics discussed include: the types of stories that EJO is drawn to as both a director and actor, Penikett’s thoughts on how Helo became the “conscience of BSG,” Hatch’s experiences with working with Lorne Greene (Commander Adama) in the original BSG, and McDonnell discusses why there are stronger female characters in television then there are in film.
Video from additional Dragon*Con 2011 panels (including, but not limited to BSG) can be found on the ConPanels Youtube channel.

I was at two of the three BSG panels that weekend — they were a real riot! All the cast members are very fun loving and happy to answer fan questions. I got to ask them, for the first video, which character was their favorite throughout the series. Michael Hogan clearly still has a thing for Six! Good times.

I was at the Friday and Monday panel. Both were great. Everyone was fantastic. Tahmoh Penikett was fantastic and Edward James Olmos was his usual awesome self!

It was the best recording we could find, to be honest.
